Are you building your house and have reached the part where you need to deal with insulation , but there seems to be too much information online and you don't know what to choose?
Most customers face the same problem, so we have prepared complete home insulation kits for you.
The kits include everything you need to insulate your home completely and effectively. At the same time, we take into account the health of your family members and have selected the best and most environmentally friendly materials for you.
Below we tell you why our Kits are the perfect choice for your home!
Indoor air quality.
Since none of the products that make up the Thermal Insulation Kits contain any chemicals, the risk of air contamination with toxic chemicals is zero. Isoflect Wolle is the only thermal insulation wool classified in Class I safety in relation to human health and is a safe product even for babies.
Thermal performance at the highest level.
Isoflect Insulation systems are among the most efficient thermal insulation solutions worldwide, at an absolutely unbeatable quality/price ratio. In addition, all the products that make up these kits are carefully designed and integrated, representing the most premium selection of thermal insulation materials on the international market.
Durability
The lifespan is unlimited, as the aging process of the materials in our Kits is extremely slow, almost non-existent.
Section showing all the layers of membranes and insulation between the beams/rafters.
Everything that is denoted by letters ( A, B, C, D, E, F ) are structural elements, as follows:
A. Roofing (tiles, sheet metal, etc.)
B. Countersink.
C. Vertical (water) batten.
D. Lining, cladding with various materials (in any case, whatever is used, it must be vapor permeable).
E. Rafters/beams of the load-bearing structure.
F. Metal profile structure. However, this section can be built of wood, if the interior cladding is made of paneling.
Everything that is written with numbers ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ).
1. Isoflect Silver or Bronze. An optional membrane, not included in the overall calculation, for additional protection against radiant heat penetration in the summer. We recommend one of the Isoflect Silver or Bronze membranes (with the aluminum foil facing the cover).
Assembly.
Perpendicular to the vertical batten. Start from the bottom. Leave a distance of 30 – 50 cm from the eaves, for the air penetration necessary to ventilate the area between the diffusion foil (2) and the membrane in question
2. Roof Pro. This is the area where the diffusion foil is installed.
The ultra-heat-resistant membrane that never breaks (relative to the applications for which it is intended). This product lowers the temperature by up to 7°C. It can also be installed without a subfloor support.
3. Isoflect Wolle . The area between the rafters. This is where the synthetic fiber thermal insulation wool, Isoflect Wolle, is installed.
Isoflect Wolle is available in two thicknesses: 5 cm and 10 cm. If the total thickness required is greater, it consists of several layers of Wolle.
For the best possible optimization and fastest installation, Isoflect Wolle thermal insulation wool is available in several configurations:
- The first membrane in the two assembly phases to create the thermal insulation envelope from the inside.
It is lowered onto the walls to be subsequently fixed with the perimeter profile. For the best possible tightness, before fixing the perimeter profile, a silicone can be applied to the area between the membrane and the wall. Isoflect Multistrat is attached with 6 mm staples, directly to the rafters. Orientation: perpendicular to the rafters, and the aluminum towards the outside.
- The second membrane in the two assembly phases to create the thermal insulation envelope from the inside.
Isoflect Multistrat is attached with 16 mm staples or nails, directly to the rafters. Orientation: perpendicular to the rafters, and the aluminum towards the outside. It can be interspersed with the first Membrane, to stop the effects of any installation imperfections.
- Isoflect Gold. It is installed over the two Multilayer membranes. Orientation: Perpendicular to the rafters. It can be interleaved with the second Membrane, to stop the effects of any installation imperfections. All joints and perforations are then sealed with Power Tape aluminum adhesive tape.
The metal profile structure is assembled and the necessary installations are introduced.
In this area, a protective shield of air is formed, sealed in an envelope with walls constructed from Isoflect Insulation thermal insulation membranes. To comply with the System 10 Certificate , this air layer must have a minimum thickness of 3 cm. Normally, the thickness of this area is 5 – 10 cm (which
brings an additional plus), thickness given by the metal profile structure, without requiring any specific operation.
The thermal conductivity of this air layer, determined in International Treaties, is Lambda λ = 0.026 W/M2K.
A single Multilayer, mounted with the aluminum foil facing outwards. It closes and seals the thermal insulation envelope composed of the membranes from Phase I and the air from point 7.
The performance of this technical solution is fabulous .
The options start from a Thermal Resistance (according to EN ISO SR EN 12667:2002), R = 4.67 M2K/W, and the total thickness of the layering at points 1, 2, 3 (P1500 pressed to 4.5 cm), 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 is 10.8 cm.
The options of this kit, adding additional layers of Wolle thermal insulation wool, lead to a Thermal Resistance of up to R = 15.19 M2K/W (point 3 with 40 cm of Isoflect Wolle P1500/P800 thermal insulation wool).
